Spit It Out Festival

OVER/EXPOSED (exhibition)is a co-creative video, photography and sound exhibition on the experience of microaggression against queer identities. The exhibition articulates the complexities of queer experiences and seeks liberation in its own disorientation and discomfort. The project was initiated by artist-researcher Regina Mosch from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh who undertakes artistic research into the (in)visibilities of trauma in documentary film. With work from Ace Bamusi, Bee Asha Sign, Bryant Bayhan, Flava J, Lu Castello, Octa Delgado and artist-researcher Regina Mosch.

Saffron Cherry (collective in collaboration doing after party) is a monthly meeting group for Queer and Trans People of Colour in Edinburgh. Saffron Cherry also hosts a bi-monthly cabaret show that features Queer and Trans People of Colour (QTPoC) performers to express their art to the QTPoC community in Edinburgh.

Halal Kitty (dj booked by Saffron Cherry) uses music as a way to explore and celebrate their mixed-cultural roots, Halal Kitty brings an eclectic selection of unconventional, modern and old sounds from the African diaspora and beyond. Expect everything from RnB and hip hop to reggaeton and Afrobeats, to techno and breaks. They founded QTIPOC+ club night Mojxmma in 2020 with high school friend Jam Eye, and have since played amongst the Glasgow scene including sets at Riverside Festival, H.O.T and the Art School.
